Notes From Today's Lecture
MLK
MLK used a variety of different components in order to really persuade his audience with his "I Have A Dream" speech. The Ethos Pathos & Logos of this all was well thought out by "The King" and it really made a difference.
Ethos: Martin was well dressed, properly groomed - and stood tall and proud. A person attending to detail in himself will have better detail in his talk. He is a powerful a respected man and sure looks like it.
Pathos: Martin had a real passionate message and tone. His choice of words showed that he really cared, and the way he presented this through his tone of voice was beautifully displayed. His words were empowering, he was empathetic and spoke with much commission for his audience.
Logos: Logos - meaning logic; Martin REALLY knew what he was talking about. Civil Rights was what he lived for, he was certainly a pro in his own game. His speech was so beautifully composed like a song.
